The unique interconnecting design of our SpeedGrid System disperses loads evenly throughout the system making it far more efficient than a simple steel pipe and clamp style grid. •SpeedGrid ladder beam components are manufactured using 1 1/2” Sch. 40 6061 T6 aluminum pipe (SpeedRail) this allows the use of standard scaffold, light fixture clamps and SpeedRail fittings on the grid. •SpeedGrids can be suspended or ground supported. The modular design of the SpeedGrid System facilitates unlimited sized of light boxes. Utilizing SpeedGrid as the core of a light box makes it easy to accommodate any size lighting unit. The rigidity of the ladder beam side walls allow the diffusion of your choice to be tightly stretched and cleanly wrapped around the edges. The 20’ft x 20’ft x 8’ft light box shown here is built from just 14 compact ladder beams in minutes. The light box can be flown from a crane, rigged on our trolley track or one of our ground support systems. Any of these methods will give the ultimate flexibility in positioning the light.
